The record for consecutive 1000 yard seasons was 3, by Greg Olsen. Gonzalez never had more than 2 such seasons in a row, and only had 4 total. Kelce was 16 yards from 8 straight.

Kelce missed those 16 yards but he also didn’t play 2 whole games last season. He sat that game at the beginning cuz he had an injury and he chose to rest during the last game. So he came that close to another 1000 yards even without playing 2 games. The GOAT.

Travis said getting those 16 YDs is harder than people think. That week of rest made all the difference in his playoff play. I agree Travis is the best TE ever and the best looking.

Travis’ has always been on great value contracts for Chiefs, vs his production. He gets bracketed with TE salaries, while the dude produces better than best WRs, esp in playoffs. One of the big reasons for Chiefs winning last 2 SBs despite sub-par WRs. And he never had contract tussles so common these days, while doing team-friendly deals. Just like Pat Mahomes. That’s how our superstars are! Go Chiefs 🎉

IMO Gronk the best overall TE (Blocking & Receiving) while Kelcie is the best receiving TE. I wouldn’t argue with anyone who thinks either is the GOAT.
