Clean the Ocean Floor with Cute Creatures!

Published 2023-07-26
Loddlenaut is a cute cleaning sim where you remove all that JUNK from the ocean floor to make life better for creatures called loddles. This game is in demo right now, so I can't wait for it to come out completely!

we don't really have the plastic rings any more (still too much other plastics, but it's a tiny improvement I suppose), but games like this will always remind me of Eco Quest (the sierra adventure games)

Two things. 1. This had one of the better openings I've watched; I legit guffawed at the sudden change in Nick's attitude. And 2. I obsessively cut up those rings.

I cut up my soda rings, can't let the poor turtles get their fins stuck.

Mumbles, the Hole Destroyer I can't remember the last time I bought drinks that came in those plastic bottle rings, but quite frankly those holes are already completely destroyed by the time I'm done with them lol. I can never just slide a bottle out of those damn things, it's always a battle with a bunch of tugging and ripping

I mean when I was a kid we got to play Coolmath Games. Oregon Trail was an at-home game lol. When I was in high school (I graduated five and a half years ago for reference) we still had computer labs, but it had long been the norm to also have laptop carts for classrooms. Actually the school I moved to halfway through my junior year was by far bigger and better funded than my school, and all students were assigned a Macbook Air for schoolwork and homework assignments. There's definitely some teachers who incorporate games into curriculum or allow educational games when class work is done.

I don't cut up my soda rings, because they don't exist here. We just sell drinks like that in a cardboard tray then we recycle or burn the carboard tray, since it's just paper and a bit of glue.

Haven't seen rings on the drinks for a while, they all seem to come in cardboard boxes in the shops around here

The Loddlenaut demo seems to still be available on Steam, for anyone who's wondering!

YO! NICK BACK! 💜 Oh hey chill game set underwater, I do love to see more chill underwater things! I obsessively cut up all the rings AND the triangles and leave them as just like a long string basically. Me and my girlfriend want to be a wife and wife team one day, working on games and novels and stuff, but sadly we must get engaged, then married first. 🥲 (One day...) I have had a similar experience with cats, I had a male cat named Marco most of my life and he was the sweetest boy and every other cat after was female and VERY anti social. My current cat, Luna, is very affectionate with me and I love her to bits, but she's doesn't really trust or get along with anyone else save for, oddly, one of my parents dogs. (But JUST the one little one, the other dog she hates) ... I am struggling to focus, my brain has been fried for days, but the game looks adorable and just hearing you too talk is super relaxing. Its like hanging out around pals having a good time while your dozing off. Your not really doing anything with them, but their positive vibes make you feel good. Oh that's wild, a game where you turn a laundry-mat into an arcade? That sounds fantastic! Weird, but cool! Computer lab time ruled, I would not be the weird, WEIRD woman I am today without it and I am forever grateful for that. Game cute, need to wait for it to go a bit... Further along... crumbs, brain bad Uuuuuuh... But ya game is cute! And heck ya, your bitsy games rule! I am gonna be working on a friendship based visual novel game with my roommate in the near-ish future and I hope one to share it with you as you have shared your fantastic games with all of us... But we will see. Till them, shine on you two wonderful diamonds!
