It refreshing to see dudes with real experience talk about the "why" behind their gear.

I carried a tomahawk in 2006ish, mostly to intimidate Iraqi’s, and someone complained. . Colonel told me I couldn’t carry my tomahawk, but then I told him it was an “extrication tool” to open windows for guys trapped in armored vehicles after an IED and then it was approved.

With everyone hyper-focused on streamlining and breathability it was interesting to hear someone hit the side plates. You don’t hear people mention them much.

For a guy who doesnt like talkin abput his kit much he clearly put his ego aside and did an incredible job at describing everything. appreciated.

it would be sick to see a video like this from other Spiritus associates and/or other end users
  • @Jackson-gv9xw
Do you think we could get a vid on how Fred sets up his recce rifles? Thanks for the video, this guy is a genuine stud. Knows his shit inside and out.
  • I think the most interesting aspect was using magnets for weapon retention on the shotgun. I don't think I've seen that elsewhere, but it's a pretty clever solution.

It was cool seeing those specific items you don’t normally see and hearing the “why” behind it. Super cool video!
  • this was the best one. the way he beats around the bush is hilarious and he gave really great information.
  • I love this videos that they show us on how they set up their gear, hopefully there will be more this kind
  • @Tism_me_timbers
It's nice to hear someone talk about gear they actually use, instead of tryhards just shilling whatever they're drop shipping that week or whoever's sponsoring them
  • @awdobsession717
Thanks for the breakdown of your kit, and for clarifying from the get go that it’s always subject to change for each mission/scenario. That probably can’t be stressed enough.

Boy, I enjoyed every minute of this video. He broke down his equipment and the purpose of it. Awesom content.
  • @dcusator

I'm Australian so I don't generally watch these types of uploads but, DAMN, you're the real deal!! Total respect man.

Phenomenal video, my friend. Really appreciate the effort and detail that went into this--especially with respect to the teaching.
