When I was way younger, I had randomly discovered this song, and I loved it. Had no idea what it was about, I just loved the animation and the style of the music. I’d forgotten about this song, but then randomly the other day I was watching a TikTok, and I heard the song “Just The Two Of Us” in the background, and immediately remembered this song. Although I didn’t remember the name, there was this one lyric that I remembered the most and it was “Just the two of us in this classroom in the sky,” so I looked up that and I discovered it again. Great song!

Honestly, I love this song, it sounds amazing, it's catchy as all heck, and the lyrics tell a fairly complex story while remaining simplistic, which is just unbealivably good. I listened to this song when it first came out, and it is even better then I remembered. Truth be told, I always loved how devoted Monika is, and I would kill to have someone be that in love with me, no matter how obsessed or deranged they seemed. And with the introductions with the four girls, when it replaces everyone with Monika near the end, I can't get over how well all those descriptions fit her; Aloof & Cooky, Sweet & Cutesy, Deep & Broody, Brains & Beauty. On some level all those traits are a part of her.
