Daily reminder: You're not useless. You're not a dissapointment. You're not dumb. You're not different. You're not compared to anyone. Because... You're loved. You're strong. You're smart. You're beautiful inside and out. You're the best version of YOU there ever is. and you're human. I know you're going through a lot of stuff right now but it'll be okay. This life is a long journey. In a journey, there are ups and downs. If you ever go down, it doesn't mean you can't go back up. Rest easy and give yourself a treat :) I love you very very much and I just want you to know that. And when you go back up, you have that space in your heart that can help others back up, as well

I think, at times, we ALL feel like we're on the other side of the fence looking in. A very inspiring short and beautifully made. A world without fences/borders and filled with love and compassion. Will humanity EVER attain such a lofty goal? It deserves any and all awards given! Thanks for sharing it with us!.

In my mind, being unable to walk should never be able to hold anyone back. People with mobility issues can be capable of amazing things.

I think that iron fence between the boy and other friends is the wall that exists in real life between normal students and disabled students. And this short film may tells us that the wall can be removed if everyone works together for disabled people. :)
  • First thought: kid becomes friends with bully’s and bully’s become nice
Second thought: kid starts to bully people with other bully’s

this shows you that you need to except people for who they are. Plus... im crying now
  • I have 5 words for the 7 billion people on Earth.

    Why is this video underrated
  • @Renserin
This is glorious, and I love it. The metaphor of the fence, and going to pieces like that, it's both very creative and very emotional. The fact that it's based on a real child's life just gives it that much more of a punch.

ARGH you know how hard it was not to cry? AARRGHHH. The movie was REALLY good. Don't tell me I was the only one who was moved to tears.

This actually one of the saddest story’s a have ever heard in my life
  • @cynthiacassel
I love it! It’s always easy to give in to feeling ashamed of something you can’t change instead of reaching out to the people hurting you and realizing how much strength you really have.
  • This is an inspiring story for many disabled people around the world, even if others will laugh at you, you keep going, and get back up, and pretty soo, you will get friends, and you're days of loneliness are over. This is truelly the best story I've ever seen.

This was so beautiful I was mad at the lady she should have played with him but yessss he made friends 🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️
  • Beautiful story of determination to forge through to the other side of discriminating against those who are a little different. What a true warriors heart Ian had, he was no different to the other children, he just had a little extra to deal with, which he did beautifully 💙 Ian also carried the greatest gift of all within himself LOVE AND ACCEPTANCE 🕊👼🏻🕊
  • This same thing actually happened in my senior year of hs. I was picked on for being a white kid, but I was friendly back, and it confused them, so they started being friendly to me and we became friends
  • @allyrudolph
The ending is beautiful. Thank you for making this animation. Made me tear up.

At first the kids didn't understand his condition that's why they were mean but when they got it they showed him the loved they are to give him💖😸💟
