  • Abby, I have never heard someone so openly and confidently say that all they want, their whole purpose, is to be a mom. Thank you for saying it. It's how I feel, and I've always been made to feel ashamed for it. My kids are each a year older than yours, and I've had such a hard tine saying it.
  • Can you please interview Elyse Myers and her husband Jonas? That would be SO incredible. Love you guys and love when you share about your kids and your parenting. Thank you for showing up every week!

Petition to bring back the “peace out dudes!” at the end!🙋🏻‍♀️ I swear Matt was so uncomfortable saying “byeeee” to conclude the episode😅

Being a kid whose parents never showed any sort of affection or adoration for eachother definitely had an impact on how I viewed intimacy and healthy relationships and I can’t say it’s all positive. I think it’s a great thing that y’all show affection in front of them. You’re setting the example for healthy relationships & love, let them see it!
  • Sue them!! People need to not get away with posting other people’s things without their consent, especially when creating a fake story using them too. So sorry that happened to you guys!
  • Take a shot every time Matt & Abby say a percentage 🤣🤣 “One hundred percent” “One THOUSAND percent” “One million hundred thousand percent”
  • Abby- I love that you plan to homeschool your kids! There are SO MANY opportunities for homeschool kids now. Homeschool sports teams/clubs, homeschool co-ops, homeschool orchestras, homeschool robotics, choirs, all sorts of things! Get involved in your local homeschool community and find the opportunities.

My kiddos are 6 and 7 & I am pregnant with baby #3 at 30. Have to say, I am SO happy with our decision. My kids are happy and involved in the pregnancy and I feel great. I don’t think I would have been mentally or emotionally prepared to have another baby 5 years ago, so this timing was perfect for me and my family!

The episodes with just the two of you are my favorite!! Love all the hard work you guys are doing to get awesome guests and put out episodes every week. Thank you!!💙
  • @makkaroon
My hearts gets warm seeing you being excited for the life you have and the love you share. And you talking about the future is soooo exciting. I can FEEL your happiness and I get to excited about life seeing you being happy! Love this podcast!
  • This is such a good conversation! The way you both are comfortable talking about so many things so openly is amazing and so inspirational.
  • @Sik2ks
I appreciate you talking about how important it is to wait until BOTH partners are ready for another baby!
  • @tashawells3568
Yall are so wise beyond your years. You guys are such great examples of just complete genuine loving people, who love with all your being. Give yourself grace, I just turned 40 and I genuinely appreciate and love yall. Much love!

Matt, thank you so much for always being open about mental health for men. My brother struggles and it isnt taken as seriously as my sisters. It’s difficult to see men go through this and we need more men like you speaking up about it!
  • We have five kids, and it is so fun! I love watching them play together and make our back yard (and house) full of life! Playing on the trampoline, making up games together, doing “performances“ together, etc. I had them at 29, 31, 33, 36, and 40.
  • Homeschool Mama here!! I love it. We are two years in and I am so thankful I get to have this time with our daughter. I love everything about it…picking the curriculum to what best fits her…doing all the fun science experiments and field trips. And she learned how to read this week! It’s such a blessing. We love it. Fine tuning her education to what best suits her is something that will benefit her for her entire life ❤
  • @kayleeparr8635
i love these natural discussions! thank you for being so open!
  • glad you both set the boundaries you need to protect your mental health - we won’t always be for everyone but that doesn’t give people the right to say such hurtful things!! Love these chats with the two of you! 🤍

We have had 5 kids in 7 years. I like the close age gap, they all play together, we homeschool etc. we haven’t had a break from diapers in 7 years but it’s honestly kind of nice to just do it all in the beginning and then when we are done with diapers we are completely done, we don’t have to do it again in 5 years. There is honestly pros and cons to anything but we love having all our kids close together. You also have to remember that they aren’t all going to be toddlers, my 7 and 5 year old are very independent and helpful so in a way it gets easier. They aren’t as dependent on you for everything.
