2024 Pigeon shooting begins ACTION PACKED

we arrived on Saturday and watched the field for flight lines coming to the field , a good amount of birds flighting across the far bottom of the field .
from right to left , I waited for Chris to arrive , then myself ,carl,& chris, made our way to the spot we needed to be .
we setup the hide in the dyke then setting the pattern using dead birds in cradles and spokes , then set the magnet up.
it started off fast with me not shooting so well . then the pigeons stared coming in big bunches , I knew with that happing I would get long possibly 2 to 3 hours shooting max ,
I scrapped through those 3 hrs shooting poorly . Chris eventually came to sit in the hide with me then I did shoot better after he told me what was I was doing wrong . with the flight line to the field drying up , I called it a day .
Chris walked back to his truck while I carried on till he got back to me with the dogs to pack away & pickup with his dogs Lexi & Meg . it was meg's first time out on the pigeons and she worked fantastic . I ended the session on 32 shot & picked .
