I couldn't believe my eyes when we arrived at the field. If I had to guess a number.. Probably near 1000 corvids!
There was a good cross wind for where we chose to set up and the birds decoy well into a steady cross wind. A good wind also helps confuse the birds as to where the noise of the shot was from so we was set for a good day!
It was an action packed morning and we both shot well to build a good bag of birds which will have made the farmer very happy π

Howdy from Sacramento! Getting ready for the opener of dove season here in California on September 1. Your video has me getting excited! Those #5s sure put the smackdown on the crows. We have to use steel shot here, so I'll be running #6s out of my Benwlli M2 in 20ga. (mourning doves are way smaller than crows). Cheers!
