  • Jack Black's superpower is being able to scream at the top of his lungs in perfect pitch.
  • It's great how modern recording techniques can change one's understanding of an older song. For example I never realised that McCartney was singing "Monday morning hit the sack, what the fuck y'all lickin' my crack" Incredible.

the line "Skit, Skat and da modafockin skiskat fockin skats" bring tears to my eyes everytime
  • "Masterpiece" isn't a term that should be thrown around lightly...but this is a fucking masterpiece.

20 years ago, I was like “never change” and they never did.

Been drumming for 15 years and NEVER BEFORE have I heard such a beautiful drum solo!!!
  • They really need an entire album of these wonderful covers. I'll never hear Abby Road the same way again.
  • @forgettablelisa
Didn’t expect the best drum solo in history to come from Tenacious D, a band with no drummer, but here we are.

How have I missed this for 2 years? This is my favorite Beatles song.
  • @DP-ez1kt
This is the one song that I played over and over again during the pandemic. Kept me going and I'm 73!

Jack skatting the drum solo made my day
  • @kellerc73
It’s clear that the Beatles were very heavily influenced by Tenacious D
  • This is my favorite Beatles cover of anything right now. When Jack sings the drum breakdowns I am put in a spell.
