A big fan of warm neutrals. Painted my last listing in canvas tan. Sold in 1 day. I’m so tired of grey. Grey is good in some applications but can be gloomy.
  • Hi, Jacob! Thanks for keeping these reviews coming. I’m glad that you are hitting the colors that I have collected chips for.

Yes!!! I love beige looking at your beige reviews because I want to change my yellow living room to beige. Thanks! 👍♥
  • I love beige paint color, however it's bit difficult in deciding which one. Great video!

Yes, to beige - or whites that lean towards beige. Thank you for the video on Canvas tan!

Yes! Manchester Tan is used throughout our home. I like it best in our east facing kitchen/breakfast area.

Very helpful, thank you. You asked how we feel about beige….I’m not a fan just because I remember it from the ‘90s (I was a teenager then) and it makes me feel like my mom lol! That said, I’m interested in Canvas Tan for my dad’s place since he has a lot of Northern Exposure and we need to warm up the walls.

I love your videos. Will you do a video on what looks nice and updated with cherry wood floors or cabinets?

Love your vids. Just wanted to also say i just painted my northwest living room in Canvas Tan. It is a great color. Nice light tan during the day that takes on a very, very slight green cast (like levis from the 80s), at night the green is just slightly more pronounced yet still looks tan. My engineered wood floors lean orange/brown and looks very nice with CT

We have Canvas Tan in our powder room and love it. We are now considering it to freshen up our formal living and dining rooms, which are connected. Right now they're Benjamin Moore Chestertown Buff, and it feels dated to me.
  • Hi. Love your videos! They are both entertaining and informative. I am a fan of beige. My favorite hues lean toward sand or tan, and also greige. I am trying to find a good tan color for my northeast-facing living room/dining/kitchen (I live in a small condo, so it's like one open room). The biggest problem is that our cabinets are all cherry wood and our style is light and beachy (think driftwood colors). We've thought about painting the cabinets, but have a limited budget. Do you have any suggestions for a tan color that goes well with cherry wood? Thanks, in advance.

Thx you for verifying the green undertone in Canvas Tan. Sometimes I look at so many colors I'm not sure what I'm seeing any more. My Florida room faces south with lots of big windows that look at a jungle. I looked at sooo many woodsy colors that on some walls were beautiful and some walls the green was too limey. I'd like a more emerald undertone. Help

So I was looking at this color for my house until you said no with Cherry floors and cabinets...ha ha ha....do you have any other recommendations for a neutral that would go with the cherry? Thanks!
  • Great info..thank you! I don't like the beige or tan colors because they seem to me boring! Drab!

Hi Jacob! Can Canvas Tan be used on the walls in a great room with a large kitchen with kitchen cabinets painted Dover White?
