  • So funny how the commentary completely switches sides once Hans has gotten for himself a masterly position. Awesome game Hans!
  • @Agirmetal
Hans has worked his ass off to come to this position
  • I think magnus just played Bad. He never attacked he doesn’t seem overly computerish I think he just got under his skin
  • The beads worked to perfection. Beadman is the future of chess.

I in no way have an adversity to online chess but in my opinion chess is a classy game and if you're going to sit in front of each other it should be over the board.

I don't think Hans has cheated in this game, it is understandable that Magnus tried to attack too early and lost some position advantage and Hans positioned his bishop pair really well.

Its amazing the commentator keep talking and never did the dead air
  • @33mana
anyone know the song they play in the background at the beginning of the video
  • @venkat4167
Did you check underneath the hair near his left ear?
  • Watch the last part of the game on 1.75x speed. He’s using his hand on face to cycle through different pieces. Once the piece is determined thru a buzz, he then cycles through possible squares to move to until another buzz. He’s wearing a receiver somewhere possibly radio. No transmitter. Someone is watching his hand signals and sending transmission when match occurs. There may be a third person on a computer relaying the engine move to the second person. There would be a reset cycle motion if they mess up or there is confusion in the communication. It would be more dramatic than the hand on mouth signals.

  • To be fair, the interviewer asked Hans to summarize the story, and Hans did just that.
