Heavy Rain on Window Sounds at Cozy Bedroom | 8 Hours of Rain Sounds for Sleeping [No Thunder]

This time I tried to make the "staple of ambiences"; a bedroom window on a rainy night :) It was also a great opportunity to work on rainy window effects. I hope It can be a relaxing sleeping background for you. I wonder if I overdid the darkness... It´s crazy hard deciding the final version of the visuals and sounds at the end. I keep making different versions and drive both me and my husband crazy!😱😂 I´m always happy to know your thoughts and criticism about visuals and sounds. The City in the back is the European side of Istanbul City, Turkey 🇹🇷 . The bridge which can be seen connects the European and the Asian continent. :)

"I live here in this apartment in a very nice neighborhood my apartment is small but its big enough for me and my friend Felix the cat,there's a livingroom,a kitchenette, a laundryroom,a bathroom,and a bedroom.... my bedroom window overlooks the great river, and the big city on the other side,a long bridge always filled with traffic,at night it stays lit up with headlights,a parade of lights,on the other side is the city,during the day major activity a lot going on over there,the tall skyscrapers, the shopping malls,restauurants,bars,auto dealerships, planes & copters flying over the vast city, a lotta bit of this and a lotta bit of that and at night it stays lit up also,a beautiful sight.... I work over there at a supermarket in the produce department, its a nice city and peaceful,well except for the noise of the traffic,horns,loud voices,etc.,but there's no crime though.... I'm home now its Friday and I'm off for the weekend I got lot of pizza,some salad,and some soda for me & some tuna fish for my cat Felix, now I'm gonna just relax and take it easy,I'm in my living room, sitting back on my comfortable recliner,eating pizza, salad and drinking some soda,Felix devouring his tuna fish dinner,watching an old movie, in a warm apartment.... its now late and I'm ready for bed I turn everything off,lock up and go to bed,I'm now in my warm bed,Felix laying at the foot of the bed and is already asleep, I look out the window across at the city,the river,the bridge,and now its clouding up,its starting to rain, that makes it even more better.... as I stare out at everything,the rain now really coming down,it still looks beautiful out there, I'm starting to get drowsy and I'm drifting off so good night and take care.... GOD BLESS YOU ALL."-😇🇺🇲☕🖥....

I love the window sill right against the bed. I find myself wondering what I’d set there if this was my room. A book? A drink of water? Would it feel chilly right up against the window like that? Maybe it would feel nice with the covers pulled up against my chin. How lovely to feel so insulated against the weather and the hard edges of the city in this cozy, protected space.

I love this. I cast it to my TV; makes it feel like it's part of my living room and this is the actual view from my window. 🌧️💤👍

For the first time in my life, I listened to ambient sound instead of taking sleeping pills to soothe me and hit upon this one immediately. I am still unsettled by the wildfires that recently came within just 200 yards of my home. My sleeping medication hasn't helped since we returned after 8 days of evacuating. This worked. So perfect when we need rain so badly. I miss that sound of rain showing on my roof but here it is. I plugged my iPhone into my ears and drifted off to the most relaxing sleep. A full 8 hours...for me, highly unusual. I am listening now.
