This right here is EXACTLY what I was expecting Olympic breaking to be. Not a disappointment. Just pure impressive athleticism.

For new events like this, they should really try to explain whats happening in a way that relates to the scoring system. It's really not obvious.

As an old 80's popper n breaker you don't know how much pleasure this gives me to see how far this art form as come. No way I could compete anywhere near this level even in my youth lol

Watching this takes me right back to May 1984 when me and my friends went to see "Breakin" at the movie theater --- MISS THOSE DAYS !!

Shigekix was on 🔥 and Victor had some nice tricks in his bag ... Breaking is totally worthy of being an Olympic event. What these guys are doing defy physics. To anybody who says or thinks otherwise, keep drinking that haterade!

It's sad to hear Breaking will not be included in 2028 LA Olympic. I think it should be permanent. Lot more entertaining than Olympic golf.

I notice a lot of people in the comments are unaware how things are scored. The judges are legends, pioneers and champions in the game. So they can judge the following the very detail while the natural inexperienced eye has to put things in slow motion and still not understand. 1: Originality (individual persons style) 2: Technicality (the intricate details in every move) 3: Cleanness (no crashes or stumbles control) 4: Difficulty (how hard a move is) 5: Musicality (staying on beat and dancing to the music) The best on the planet score extremely high on all these things. Lastly, just because you move fast doesn’t mean anything. That’s HIS style. Victors first round was ART despite him not taking it. Both are champions. (Edit): it looks like the Olympics have their own five that don’t include some of the ones I mentioned. But believe me, they are still considering them

We all know the asians will win the gold in this sport. They are legends in breakdancing. I been watching all the redbullbcones long ago and they always are unstopeable

Why exactly do people hate breaking being in the Olympics so much? It's no debate that it's a sport. Ice skating is dancing on ice. This is dancing on hard floor with technical moves that requires musicality, core, upper body, lower body, core strength, and cardio.

People are gonna say this isn’t a sport . But it takes a lot of athleticism and coordination to do this 🔥🔥 (P.s To those in denial in the comments I got two words : rhythmic gymnastics )
