Feeling great in Virginia at age 67. Still cutting firewood and getting easier because of your advice. Standing up is better! Thanks for asking.

Thanks for talkin about this stuff, I’m an arborist tree guy who focus’ on tree care not removals and I see so much destructive tree work, especially from DIY homeowners who have no idea that they have absolutely no idea

Hi great to hear about your experience I’m trying to teach a young lad how to prune and thin out a tree his getting to learn how to cut the right way thanks to you billy David uk 75yr old

Yep been there and messed up & felt terrible afterwards. As long as I learn for next time. Also just because we love cutting wood, doesn’t mean we aren’t greenies at heart. We just don’t cut down trees for fun. I love forests, which reminds me that I have the tallest tree in our state not far from us. I will have to go an have a look. Take care

Started a small firewood business on the side of doing yards and the odd job. Thanks for everything you do! Also started making wood and firewood content on this channel! like I said you have been a BIG inspiration to me! Thanks again!!!!

Cant wait for those Alder snag videos Buckin', in northern Alberta here and I've got a couple doozies I need to take care of. Great big, rotten leaners, doing their best to fall on buildings. Could use a few tips for sure!

Doing well at 70 here in Kansas. Cutting and splitting firewood for our winter heating requirements. I do use a hydraulic splitter though as this "osage orange" (hedge), is too much for me to split with an axe. I have learned so much from your channel and send thanks for all you share with folks like me. I wish the folks that trim trees for the power company would follow your recommendations. As I drive down our roads I see so many trees that will eventually wind up splitting in two pieces and potentially wind up blocking a road or hitting a vehicle!
  • Mom and I put money on a gift card at the local coffee shop for the kids going to school in the morning. I plan on still doing even when school lets out. I’ve even used it for people that are just having a bad day. Sandy that works there has been told to use it when she feels like someone needs a pick me up. I’ve been raised to help my fellow man because one day you might need a hand.
  • Hey Bucking!!! Here from Cleveland 🙌🏻🙏🏻 love the channel.
