How would you like to be a better manager? If you lead a team, you want them to win. Only then will you achieve the goals of the entire organization. Unfortunately, most teams experience an expectation gap. They don't fully understand what is expected of them and their role. This causes frustration, anger, disappointment, and loss of trust.

In Matthew Kelly's book, The Culture Solution, he says the hardest expectations to manage are the ones we don't know about. Everyone on your team deserves to know where they stand and what is expected of them.

Very good advice Kate. I ran my own business for 25 years. It's easy for our team to forget what we expect from them without frequent positive reinforcement. Great video. Your screen presence is very powerful.

I love these tips, I do HR at my day job and I will definitely ask them what do they expect from me and vise versa. Your delivery is fantastic btw! Great job! 💪🏼😁💯

Setting clear expectations is something that is definitely applicable in all aspects of life. There are so many unspoken expectations in family, work, and with clients. I often ask people what do you consider a win and or what is it you want to accomplish. To make sure I can meet those expectations.
