I wish pinterest had an ai filter like pixiv does tbh
  • Ai should be a tool to get a visual idea of what you want in a character especially for us who struggle with visualisation you know. Ai can be an amazing tool for artists doing exactly what you're doing here.
  • you did so good, i personally dont like ai if its going to be used with the intention of calling it art, however i think if people use it like this its ok, i recently saw a video where a guy was redesigning his desk and asked ai for a reference, and i think thats incredible a lot of people say ai is a tool and i agree, what sucks is a lot of people dont use it as such.

Honestly, those ai designs might look pretty on the surface, but if you actually take a closer look, nothing about it makes sense. The clothes, the jewelry, hell not even the hair. I tried using the hair from one of those „character“ sheets but had IMMENSE struggles drawing it in different angles, because it only works in front-view💀 Getting inspired by those designs is fine (as long as you don’t generate them yourself, because by using these programs you‘re part of the reason why this unethical mess still exists) but straight up copying them is just lame So, stay creative, folks✨

those designs belong to the artists that the AI creator stole from, aka fed the ai imagaes of other artists. so the AI art actully belongs to some poor artists that have no idea their design got stolen :<
  • I've been using AI in the exact same way. It's hard for me to visualize what I want and make a good costume, color scheme, and pose so using the Ai to come up with those ideas and get a good place to start from is, to me the exact purpose of AI. Also, most artists use other artists as a reference and that is fine as long as you take the idea and change the details it becomes a new idea. Of course, referencing the artist in those cases, when you can, is best. In this case stating where the art came from, AI, tells the audience enough, but I definitely see this art as something that is ok to make and claim as your own since you drew it in your own style and changed enough of the details.

GONNA DO THIS I SUCK AT DESIGNING CLOTHES FOR MY OCS
  • @Itz_Mothii
I’ve done this too when I have art block LOL it’s fun to reimagine all the messed up details

I can draw, and love designing characters! However...i always struggled with designing clothes. I can see these AI designs being useful in helping to inspire concepts, but NOT in replacing them. Its a tool, not a crutch.

found your channel through this video, i like your style and finally found someone using ai to assist in the creative process, good stuff
  • This literally just inspired me to make a new oc and you just earned yourself a new subscriber
  • Tbh I cant wait until someone actually uses these designs and they get stolen by everyone lol (the IA ones)

I feel DUPED!!! I DIDN'T REALIZE A LOT OF THESE PINTEREST POSTS ARE AI. Wow, I am genuinely dissapionted. I used a couple for reference 😅
  • AI "art". Just a message for everyone out there: AI can't make art. It generates images. Like for brevity in a video, I get calling it "art". But AI cannot produce art. And, @Monorume, don't sweat stealing from AI bros. They have nothing to steal. Like, it's already been determined in court they hold no copyright cuz they didn't make anything lol QUICK EDIT: Your art is really good! Think I'll sub for a while. And, hey if you don't mind a word of advice: you should work at a higher resolution (I might be mistaken, but it seems like you're working lo-res judging by the pixelation on your linework?). It will allow a lot more room for line weight variance. I used to work on canvases set to 1000x1000px @72 dpi, and my linework was always kinda hard to deal with cuz it was so pixelated. Swapped to minimum 2000x2000px @300 dpi (and usually I blow it up to 4500x4500px) and now everything is crisp and easy to work with. I hope that helps!

Your designs are so much more legible than the AI. Also, I love watching artists work because I learned so much. The way you put highlight in hair is how I am gunna do it now on. It’s so much better than what I’ve been doing.

I LOVE the way you drew them. Your are is so prettyyy
