After nearly 39 years, the NBA has a new all-time scoring king, and his name is LeBron James. In 2011, Bleacher Report posted a list containing the 15 Most Unbreakable Records in League History. One of them was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time scoring record. It's really crazy that we've been talking about this being possible since like 2014 and LBJ really did it. Love him or hate him, it’s crazy to think that there are still people out there that don't appreciate LeBron James. We should celebrate once in a lifetime achievement.

I thought he'd break this record, but I never in a million years thought he'd still be this good when he did it. He's going to put this record so far out of reach that I doubt we'll ever see it get broken.

Crazy part is he's still going strong. By the end of his career, he might score 43,000 points. If 38,880 was unbreakable before, I don't know how insanely difficult to break 43K will be. What an amazing career.
