some quick notes:
-the major point of this project was to push myself to FINISH something; during creation, once a frame or set of frames was considered 'done' i refused to let myself go back and edit it lest i fall down the rabbit hole of feeling things weren't good enough and never moving past 'em. this means there are small character design inconsistences and i'm sure a boatload of mistakes, and that's okay! i finished the project and i'm proud :)
-all of the characters are my own OCs but the general aesthetic is a parody of a certain all-powerful entertainment franchise as well as amusement parks in general!
-the main art programs used were Krita and DaVinci Resolve (the free version)
song: • The Mind Electric

It’s not often that the algorithm recommends me hidden gems with under a 100 views. But when it does it’s always amazing in every way. From the visuals down to the creativity. Keep it up man!

i love how you used real world props for some of the scenes! it really captures the insanity of this song
-
simply outstanding! I adore your mixed-media technique, it's really suitable for showing different aspects of an artists' vision and also gives strong psychedelic vibes I hope that I understand it right, because I also enjoy using it in my works for this reasons

This song is so cool, and seeing all the animations people make for it makes it even better
-
The dreamcore/glitchy aesthetic used here fits so well with the song. I genuinely got chills from this, I have no idea how this doesn’t have a million views
-
This is really well-done. Some parts of it give me "Psychonauts" vibes, while other parts of it give me "Smile for Me" vibes.

GOOD LORD THIS CAPTURES THE FEELING OF THE SONG SO WELL 10/10 holy biscuits and gravy

ack I love this!! The way the story unfolded in less than 3 minutes, but somehow had such good pacing? Like how the story would start to come together with each bit of info you got but also contributed to the growing dread as you put the pieces together was just so wonderful. I feel like I just watched an entire series or something i was so invested and curious about what was going on. And the art is so detailed and full of clues, I found myself constantly pausing to just appreciate each frame. Also mixing in photographs gave the whole thing such a cool collage vibe like??? the potential of this concept?? the inspiration this gives me??? (only if you're cool with it though, with credit of course). Anyway, awesome song, awesome work, amazing job overall.

watching this was so bizarre. the visuals make it pop and the bits of gore and blood give it a creepy vibe. underrated as fuck, 10/10 viewing experience.

The mix of edited photographs with a cartoon art style makes such a cool, creepy collage with really strong weirdcore vibes. Perfection
-
i love how rough and messy this animation is! it really complements the nature of the song so well
-
I’ve definitely heard the title of this song a lot, and frankly, now that I’ve heard it, I’m just very angry I had never listened to it before now. Also, your art? EXQUISITE

This feels like a perfect visual representation of what the song projects in me. I love it

I don't have words to explain how wonderfully this is done. I really LOVE the animatic style and characters (and also their plot). I wish the author further development :> (I’m not eng speaking person. Sorry if I said something wrong)

One of my favorite animatics for this song! The part where the interviewer was telling him to raise his right hand was fabulous. And the whole idea of the park mascot experiments.. amazing
