CONFRONTED by Angry Neighbor, He tried ASSAULTING ME

Published 2024-05-17
I received a message that a family really needed some help. The owner of the home lost their job, is struggling to make the mortgage payment, and code enforcement wrote them a ticket giving 10 days to have the property cleaned up. I couldn't help them with everything, but I cleaned up their yard to at least get the city off their back. A VERY angry neighbor came over and confronted me during this clean up. Apparently a little sleep was more important than getting this property mowed. I actually finished this yard in the dark as it took me several hours longer than I had originally thought it would take. Watch me pull 3 inch SLABS of grass and dirt off these sidewalks. I also had a couple other unique encounters as well while working, watch the video and check them out. As always, we can all "Leave a Mark". Thanks

That neighbor knew they were having a rough time and called the city to complain about the yard? Then complained when it was getting cleaned up. What a colossal jerk. Maybe he should have helped them by mowing their lawn rather than call the city on them.

Doesn’t matter if you were making money or not. You are legally allowed to clean up a yard and use equipment during the day. His work schedule is not your problem.

This guy worked the entire day. For free! He could’ve been with his family and having a nice drink without the hassle. But instead, he chooses to help people. God Bless you sir!

F him and that apology. He KNEW the family was struggling and yet still reported them

It doesn't matter if it's a paid job or not there is no excuse for rudeness.

Obviously the complainer never heard the "rule" that you always should approach someone using power equipment from the front for the safety of both parties.

Didn’t want to hear the noise of cleaning it up but he reported it? Great guy!
  • I’m trying to get on top of my yard that for 2 summers I couldn’t keep up with because I was struggling with leukemia. I’m in remission now and getting stronger everyday. I actually can mow my yard in one day now, instead of 3. Wish someone like Mark operated around here. May he and the other yard warriors be blessed with good health, happiness, love and prosperity.

Tip from an ex-swing shift worker: invest in foam earplugs and have a box fan running in the bedroom.

The angry neighbor was the one who reported that poor family to the city. Instead of helping his neighbor, he gave them more grief.

He is complaining yet doesn't help cut neighbors yard guys.a real work of art
  • That place has been in neglected condition for a long time for the grass to grow over the sidewalk like that. Many blessings to you sir for cleaning it up for them.

"and I'm the one who reported it to the city" "I know they are struggling "big time" 😢 Are you kidding me? If you know your neighbor needs help - why do you wait for a total stranger to do what you should have done a long time ago? Bless you for helping those who are in need! ❤
  • That’s heartbreaking the neighbor knows they’re struggling and he report d them to the city but couldn’t help his own neighbor. How sad. Thank you for your kindness❤

It's day light. You can not do yard work on everyone's schedule. You are doing something very nice and i thank you from the bottom of my heart. 😊😊😊😊😊

Very cool that the neighbor not only came back to apologize but also brought you a drink. Not too many people can admit when they make a mistake and try to make amends.

"I reported to the city" That's why the city is fining them, wow that was so neighborly of you, thank you for making their lives one step harder!

Nobody is going to do yard work at "third shift" for "his" convivence.... Whether they're making money or not! Great job on your part.
  • Outstanding work! God bless you buddy. Handled the ignorant guy well, too! Thanks for helping people out. The world needs more of it.

First timer here. Great job Sir thanks for your kindness. I think it was very cool of the neighbor to apologize, we all understand the situation Kindness, helping and understanding of one another is what we need more of in this world in my humble opinion. The before and after's are wonderful 😀
