That neighbor knew they were having a rough time and called the city to complain about the yard? Then complained when it was getting cleaned up. What a colossal jerk. Maybe he should have helped them by mowing their lawn rather than call the city on them.

Doesn’t matter if you were making money or not. You are legally allowed to clean up a yard and use equipment during the day. His work schedule is not your problem.

The angry neighbor was the one who reported that poor family to the city. Instead of helping his neighbor, he gave them more grief.

This guy worked the entire day. For free! He could’ve been with his family and having a nice drink without the hassle. But instead, he chooses to help people. God Bless you sir!

That annoyed man did approach you with a bit of anger, but quickly changed his tune and apologized, even bringing you a cold drink and apologizing again. That takes a lot of humility and it's not easy for most men to do that. :body-blue-raised-arms: He clearly just needs some sleep. You did a great job!

Obviously the complainer never heard the "rule" that you always should approach someone using power equipment from the front for the safety of both parties.
