Tesla MODEL Y Lowest Price EVER: Buy Now or Wait?

Published 2024-05-21
Tesla is offering a 0.99% financing only on Model Y’s and only for a limited time. Right now, owning a Model Y is cheaper than it has ever been.

With the Model Y being the best selling vehicle in the world, and at its new lowest price ever, it may seem like a no-brainer to purchase one.

However, with a potential Model Y refresh (project Juniper) on the horizon - some people may want to hold out for something potentially better.

Personally, we love our Tesla Model Y and we are happy we didn’t wait for the Model Y refresh!

  • UPDATE: Tesla hates me. The second I published this video, they raised the 72 month loan option from 0.99% to 1.99%. The 60, 48, and 36 month options still remain at 0.99%.

    These deals are incredible! 👍👍👍

New model 3 suspension & quiet features are a HUGE improvement over old 3/ current Y. If you don't like the harsh ride /road noise in cabin,... wait. (but go test drive new 3 yourself, just to compare & confirm). There is still some uncertainty about coming future batteries also, and they might also lose $7.5k tax credit, so... some risk there.. (though might also get more advanced/faster charging batts ? but $7.5k is a big price hit) but, as noted, hopefully by time those details & timing are confirmed for Juniper refresh, there would still be bunch of inventory w/ deals you could grab then too... just have to be quick to get before run out. If you like signal etc stalks, then buy the current one, before refresh loses it :)

I played around with the #s and I was confused, maybe I missed it, but is the monthly payment the probable savings amount or the financing amount?? Because I’m seeing $400 probable and that’s not bad at all.
  • Do you guys have seat covers on your model y? I'm having a hard time getting some for my 24 model y. Please help!!!

I just placed an order, but I'm waiting to see what they offer for my trade-in. Does anyone know how long it takes Tesla to give you a final offer?

So sad I can’t afford one right now. I just started my new career as a Mortgage Loan Originator. So I plan on buying one as soon as I can since I need a new car, but I’m gonna miss the .99% APR

I'm about to play Tesla Roulette. Went to test drive the SR RWD Model Y today figuring they're going to slash the price soon for clearance. It was great (It's basically just another Model Y) but just for me lacked that punch when you hit the gas. We have a Long Range and it's crazy fast. The Performance is the ultimate, but I think the Long Range is the sweet spot. Sales guy told me this: If you put in an order by May 31 you can get 0.9 (or 1.9 for 72 now looks like) and they can stall your delivery a couple of weeks. So I'm putting $250 on a Long Range the very end of March to see if the price goes down. If it does, at least according to the sales guy, I get the finance rate AND the discount. Lots of ifs there but I'm giving it a shot.

Do it now! It will be expensive, so do this now!
  • @sethakira6221
Was going to purchase itat 72 months but them raising the interest convinced me not to. Saved me from an impulse buy
  • @Boston_CremePie
Why would you park $5-$10k down on vehicle? Specially when the financing is at .99%
  • @nvasudeva
    .99% no more on 72 months , it's now at 1.99% for 72 months
  • @jfperezm
The only but for me it is the cost of the insurance,. $300+ per month in California.
  • @jazzjazz4765
they are not offering to every1, we try getting but they didn't get that
  • @jakepthsd
6 years finance is long time LoL ,,,not taking account into the Auto insurance cost, 4 x tires for every 20 months (long range dual motor) ..etc a lot $$$ vs Hybrid Toyota or Honda ,,,who would be winning :)
