I soak until the tap roots grow 3/4”. It’s better than using the paper towel method, as many paper products go through a bleaching process that if it Doesn’t kill the seed, it will slow germination.

This is unnecessarily convoluted. You are using 3 different units of volume, at least one of which isn't standardized. Units given: tablespoons, fluid ounces, and cups. How about milliliters?
