I was a teenager when the WNBA was created. I’ll be 47 this year and that league still hasn’t made a profit. 💀

The WNBA is an inspiration to my grandma. She was paralyzed for 13 years but one day while a WNBA game was on the TV she was able to get up and go turn it off.

Back in 2006, this girl who I went to junior high with was going to sing the national anthem at the NY Liberty game. I was a teen and went to a private school so I had no ID. The tickets were at will call for me and my boy. The ticketing lady wouldn’t give me the tickets because I couldn’t “ prove “ who I am. I told her respectfully who would want to steal WNBA tickets. She thought about it and gave them to me 😂.

The most interesting thing the WNBA has had happen was that 1 player getting traded for a war criminal. Britney Griner for the lord of war, makes sense.
  • @DeludedMedia
I forgot draymond literally called them complainers lol
  • I'm so mad. I had 2 WNBA tickets in my car and today someone broke into my car and now there are 4 WNBA tickets.
  • Hear me out: They should play in smaller venues, fully capitalizing on what fans that are showing up.
  • @styner3
The last WNBA allstar game had 10 air-balls and that’s with their best players
  • I'm going to be brutally honest, the entitlement of WNBA players has ensured that no matter what changes they make, I'll never even consider watching a game. There's nothing about having an ugly attitude that makes people want to support you.

Imagine a customer telling you what you could do to gain their business, but instead of listening, you do the the opposite and demand more money. Then you turn around and blame the customers for your failing business and insist your product is great, even though no one is buying it. They are absolutely ruled by their emotions.

Closer three point line, shorter quarters, smaller ball, all fine. Lower the rim? THAT'S SEXIST!!!!
  • WNBA should have a mandatory Business Finance 101 class for everyone in or entering the league.

Not even Caitlin Clark can save them. I’m extremely skeptical. One player cannot save the league and lets not get started with how much drama based it is to be in the team. Clark much rather be in a college home like Iowa.

These WNBA players do realize they make quite a bit more money than the average person who actually works five days a week for eight plus hours a day all damn year long? Geezus they’re completely out of touch.

Those ping pong players be going crazy tho man

It's not even the wnba being less athletic and dunking less than the NBA. Wnba "athletes" are far from it. They look extremely uncoordinated, not athletic at all, and don't seem to even know basketball. It just looks like a playground game or pick up game. If I were NBA players, I'd mention female Olympic athletes. Those girls are elite, and entertaining to watch. There's just something about watching another individual master and perform at the top of their craft. Don't see that in the wnba, and if you do it's too few players. They alone can't represent the league entirely and save it.
  • @atonebenino
Let's be honest even if they lowered the rim and started dunking no one would watch after week one.

Lower WNBA pay until they're making a profit, and then slowly build from there. If it's at about $100,000 now, cut it to $50-60 grand on average, more for better players, less for worse, until you're in the black.
  • I seriously don't think women dunking will do anything, they can barely catch the little ball they play with
