According to lucy, jay also said he was lost but how can this be when he has only walked 20 minutes from the road. Btad and Lucy's phone conversations completely contradict each other.

makes so much sense, he's cut, exhausted, thirsty, lost, with the main road just 10 meters away, but decides his best bet is to keep going through the wilderness because safety lies not on the main road, but among the cacti, bushes and sliding rocks. Got it!

Does anyone realise that the beach is literally tiny there is no chance in hell you can go walking along that coast? Like his motive of heading to the beach is why? He just gonna sit and chill out there?

Whoever stayed where the mattress was, the signs of life - Must know something. Why head to the coast, when either hungry or thirsty and especially when you cannot walk along the beach to the next town? - Dead End? (He met these guys he stayed with only three days before...) ?? He must of thought he was setup, trying to figure how to get back quickly. How did he dissappear so quickly makes it sinister. Do the Webcam cameras have recordings? The lady from the café saw him at which lookout point? Was the phone found? Have you looked inside the water tank?
