Street Photography - Day Two London - Extinction Rebellion Protest, Partial Colour, and Landmarks

Published 2019-10-09
Spend a day in Central London. I came across the Extinction Rebellion Protest at Trafalgar Square. Given the uniformity of colour amongst the protesters, I decided to use the Fujifilm partial colour option. It’s an option that I haven’t used for years, but seems to work. I also took some photos of London landmarks, but deliberately underexposed the photos to capture the clouds.

That's a very interesting technique Karl, really effective and artistic.

  • I missed this video in my feed... I'm not a great fan of the single colour/BW option, but the use of it on the door with the woman with phone to make the subject draw your eye was actually quite clever and works. I really love the bus in front of the alley with interesting light, where the windows of the bus makes for multiple framed images "SKI" / Street etc., Interesting eye you have sir. (oh and timing!)
