An animated series would literally have a cult following.

If there is a series, I think it'd be neat for the followers to be talkative, and for the Lamb to either Not Speak, or Rarely speak. That said, no matter what's decided on, the Lamb should absolutely be allowed Swear when they lose at Knucklebones.

Oh I YEARN for an animated series— what I would GIVE to see the world building of not just the Lamb's cult, but the other Bishops' respective Cults and Domains, and the side-stories of the other landmarks on the map; Sozo's frightening obsession with the spores, Ratau's fall from grace as the previous bearer of the red crown, Plimbo's smuggling business, the creature in the water— dude there's so many stories that could be told through a CotL animated series that I would DIE for

This game really deserves an animated series

What I love about Cult of the Lamb is that it isn't cute and scary, it's cute and unsettling, the thought of cult behavior in an artstyle that isn't too far off from Helly kitty gives me chills. There's so many directions an animated series for it can go.

The fact that the animation style for this is almost indistinguishable from the Doom and Shroom MASHED cartoon is a testament to how good that video is. But this is also fantastic!

I love the subtle sound design of the lamb's bell ringing. Both in game and in the clips! It's so charming but also not distracting or overbearing

My favorite thing about this game is the fact that you can hear the little bell tinkling throughout the game. I can't get over it.

All I can picture with the animated series is like short episodes with different events that happen in the cult, including follower requests But I also picture getting more lore about other characters like Midas, Ratau’s friends, the chubby cat, even the heretics before and after the incident with The One Who Waits (Speaking of which, chubby cat, forgot the name, already has lore that you will learn from the stories the cat tells you and when you meet the people she talks about, her sons)

I like the idea of the sheep being docile and kind before, and slowly becomes more evil as they fight and gain more and more followers, until they realize their lord and master is changing who they are.

Honestly, I've been saying this since the game released, there's a lot if unspoken lore that can easily be expanded on, the absurdly adorable mix of violent and rich enthralling world design here is ripe for an animated series. It'll be a cult phenomenon!

I would gladly sacrifice myself for an animated series, but only if Devolver Digital promised to raise me from the dead so I could watch it.
