I’m new to bible study. I’ve started with Matthew and we are doing a nine week series on Colossians in church. So far I’m loving it.

I am using the Bible project app and I love it. They have courses and it's been so interesting to learn about the Hebrew Bible... And also all sorts of different connections from book to book. The Bible project is very cool!

Today I learned that in Roman law if a person was adopted they are considered a whole now person and it they had debts they are completely eradicated absolved... Hence Paul's mention of it in Ephesians chapter 1

I always took notes in my bible and in my Bible journal as I studied but you have given me a refreshing way to look at studying the word. Your excitement about the word is contagious and really has awoke that thirst for knowledge and relationship with the Lord. Thank you again for your resources. I really appreciate them. I got motivation when I found The Bible Recap. And while doing that Found Heart Dive Kanoe explains as she reads. I am so excited to read and listen to both of those. I am behind them but i am understanding more.

I’m struggling through a bible study on Hebrews. Wow. I’d love to see your notes. I didn’t realize how little I knew about Hebrews until trying Jen Wilkins study. (The failing is totally mine. Not Jen’s. )

I got several book series by Stephanie Grace Whitson for some young teens I know. They are devouring them, and even asking if there are more series by her. :)

For large print fans, I recently purchased an NLT Inspire Faith Bible which they offer in large 10.5 font, single column, big 3.5" margins, and its filament enabled. There is also the NLT Inspire Prayer Bible which has Giant 13 point font, single column, and wide almost 4" margins. Both of these include design/colored vellums and about 400 scattered pictures to color. I covered some of the pictures over and just took notes in the margins. So far its working great!

Faith-would love to know how you approach extra resources as you go through your GBRP each year. In episodes past you mention using a new commentary each year. Is this how you approach it, a different one each year or if your reading say Matthew 1 do you pull out every single resource you have on that passage and read through?
