Elizabeth Wiemerslage, 22, and Chloe Johnson, 24, were arrested in Minnesota after police found security camera footage of the women allegedly abusing infants under their care at Small World Learning Center. The women are accused of violently flipping babies and pushing them down into pillows. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber combs through the heinous accusations and speaks with state Rep. Nolan West, who says he removed his own child from the daycare center not long before the arrests.

  • If babies make you that angry why would you even want to work around them..
  • Make it a federal law for cameras to be installed in ALL daycare centers. THIS is not an isolated issues!! Wake up parents!
  • Hearing about this actually made my stomach weak. I just can't understand who treats a baby like this.
  • The daycare needs to be shut down and the supervisor needs to be charged as well.
  • I’m sick of hearing about children getting hurt by people they are suppose to trust
  • Elder, child and animal abuse of ANY kind should all be prosecuted to the fullest!!!!
  • im a daycare assistant and just the idea of hurting them on accident is devastating to me. doing something like this to an infant...? my mind literally won't let me imagine it
  • I went broke, and wasted my bachelor's degree so i could stay home with my babies. No regrets.
  • All daycares and classrooms should have cameras with people monitoring them. This is crazy and becoming common.
  • Parents need to start popping in unexpectedly to see their kids no matter if its at a daycare or a private home.
  • The US NEEDS a better maternity leave policy :( infants should not be left in the care of strangers
  • My daughter cried so hard when being dropped off at daycare that my mom said “children don’t cry like that for no reason. Remove her and find a different daycare.” I did. She didn’t cry like that at the next place.
  • and that’s why my kids don’t leave my side until they’re competent enough to tell me exactly how their days go and how their teachers are.
  • The first time my niece saw a large bruise on her sons face, that the daycare employees couldn’t explain, she removed him. She told the daycare, if you don’t know how my son got the bruise, then I assume that you’re either, not watching him, or you’re hurting him. The owner of the daycare needs to be charged also because they knew those babies were being mistreated and abused and allowed it. There’s no way the owner, and or manager did not know with all the parents complaints, and removing their children from the daycare. Especially when an employee of the daycare also complained. Why these two women were allowed to continue to care for fragile infants is incomprehensible and inexcusable. I can’t believe this young man is an elected Minnesota state representative.
  • I have a special needs son, I had him in school for a while until he started to show me signs he was scared to get on the school bus! Then one day I popped up at the school, they had my son ( tied in a chair) that said this was standard procedure for kids who make loud noises! Needless to say my son is now homeschooled and that’s not only for his protection but mine! Protects me from going to JAIL!
  • Forget prison, they would be on life support if that was my child. I’m glad those parents took action and those babies did not deserve that.
  • This is monstrous! 20 years doesn't feel long enough for the damage they could have caused.
  • What are the odds that two monsters work at the same daycare harming children ….. I promise I would be in prison
  • My oldest had colic, cried all the time, and I shudder to think of what could have happened to her if she was being cared for by someone who didn’t love her 😢. It was hard enough for me as her mother to stay calm. Little babies especially so young and fragile need to be protected.
