A day after his debut at the 2024 National Convention as the Republican vice presidential nominee, J.D. Vance is making the Republican faithful happy as he completes a total about-face on his new boss, Donald Trump.
Vance wrote the best-selling book "Hillbilly Elegy" before launching his political career. Central to his rise has been the Ohio senator's transformation from an outspoken Trump critic to one of his most loyal supporters.
Vance's evolution "speaks volumes about both President Trump, who has that sense of forgiveness, understanding, putting things aside, and also, vice president (nominee) Vance, that he owned it," Stacey Feinberg, a California donor to the Trump campaign, said on Tuesday
