This stuff is wild. My gym trainer said once to me during an intense workout, "our bodies can handle way more than we want them to." And I feel like that rings true especially for this. As Bailey was explaining these and then saying that the people were still alive, all I could think was I would have been wishing I was dead, as I'm sure many of these people were.
