Awesome video. Some of these plays were amazing to see. Sheer athleticism from elite sportsmen is quite a sight. What is the most impressive athletic play you have ever seen?
  • The last player in the video is Tyreek Hill, the Cheetah, the play where you said "These guys could be sprinters in the Olympics." Funny you should mention that. Hill was a world-class sprinter in high school, approaching world record times in the 100m and 200m dash. He has one of the fastest NFL measured speeds, at 23.2mph. Usain Bolt hit 27.3 mph, but he wasn't wearing ~12 lbs of gear and wearing a uniform designed to be so tight that an opponent cannot grab any loose fabric, and so difficult to get into that players sometimes require help. Bolt and Hill have actually gone back and forth on Twitter, with Bolt admitting he'd have to train extensively before challenging Hill at middle distances.

The insane thing about Kenny Moore's interception in the endzone (#23 in White in the endzone) is that he's only 5'9" tall and he was defending a guy that's 6'6" tall.

That Odell Beckham Jr catch (#13 in blue) is known as one of the greatest catches in NFL history

The player at 2:40 with the diving touchdown is Quarterback Taylor Heinicke. He has a great story. He was out of football, back at college, sleeping on his sister's couch studying for a math exam a week before that game. He struggled for a while to make it because he is considered too small and weak to play QB effectively. All of Washington's QBs got hurt. And the coach called him up because he was the only guy who knew the playbook. His first game back was this one, playing against Tom Brady in the playoffs, and they almost won. Brady and the Bucs ended up winning the Suoerbowl a few weeks later. That play in the clip created the local phrase "the legend of Taylor Heinicke". He's a fan favorite and currently still playing, and winning for the Washington Commanders.

I know you said your comment about backflips being required was a joke, but actually it is common for players to take courses in dance- ballet specifically, and gymnastics. It improves their balance, coordination, and flexibility. A few NFL players have been contestants on Dancing With The Stars.

They're not trying to hit the orange marker. What they're trying to do is something called "breaking the plane." It's an invisible barrier, that starts where the orange pylon is and that's what scores the touchdown.

Troy Polamalu's athletic plays would take all day to watch lol the guy is just built different. His high IQ plays are even crazier. Still holds the top interception in the NFL with the "finger tip scoop" interception and the crazy part is he did it a couple of times lol

Just something to know some of these players were 2 or even 3 sports guys in high school or even college and ran track so that's one reason why they are so athletic. Who knows how many of these football players would have made Olympic teams in other sports if they weren't so good in football and dedicated themselves to other sports.

Check out anything about Rob Gronkowski. He is 6'6" and 265 pounds of pure terror. No one player could cover him. He could outrun linebackers and out muscle D B's

I'm a scotsman who has been living in Massachusetts the past 20 years. I love the NFL, hope it continues to gain traction back home. Go patriots!

The NFL is an elite league. It tries to have a Messi or a CR at every position; sometimes it even succeeds. Less than 1% of college players are drafted into the NFL and prior to the draft, players go to the Combine which is a series of athletic tests. Then if you're drafted, you have to fight for your position. The Roster at the beginning of an NFL season is 90 and has to be cut down to 53 players by the start of the season. Tough league and NFL stands for (Not for long).
  • @thseed7
Doesn't matter where the player's body is, as long as they haven't been touched down to the ground, the ball just needs to cross the plane of the end zone. The orange markers frequently get knocked over with ball because it shows that the ball crossed the line. "That Time Dante Hall Dazzled The NFL As The Human Joystick" from NFL throwback channel and "Barry Sanders Untouchable" by Joseph Vincent channel have incredible videos you should see.

Best jukes is another that will show their athleticism
  • @_iamskeezz7892
Seeing American football through your eyes jus makes me appreciate the sport that much more ! Awesome video bro 👍🏾👍🏾
  • Ya just cant beat the excitement of American football. The athleticism of the players is amazing!!
  • @cjcookj85
I'll say it again. Barry Sanders top 50 highlights.
  • @Asshat237
These plays are all modern. They need to show some other stuff like Bo jackson, Barry Sanders. Watch highlight videos of both those guys. You will get good views. They are two incredibly legendary players. Bo Jackson is probably the most athletically gifted player ever. He also played professional baseball at the same time he was in the NFL. In the late 80s he was a god.

What’s crazy about that Taylor Heinicke video is that’s his first start ever in an nfl game and it was a playoff game against the previous years Super Bowl team that featured an all star cast including Tom Brady. He literally balled out and almost sent the Buccaneers home. Would have been one of the greatest upsets in nfl history.
