I no longer play Unity co op, but I recommend checking the AC Multiplayer Revival Discord server to find teammates. HIGH PROFILE ON PC, BY DEFAULT, IS SHIFT. I reassign/rebind it to Right Click, it makes things a lot easier for me personally. WATCH THE UNITY NO UPGRADES COMMENTARY [2019 VERSION] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9b1pV3K8ooY WATCH THE DEAD KINGS NO UPGRADES COMMENTARY [2019 VERSION] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sLrjQozWwA Special thanks to FebUSAlf, SerHolmes, the members of the Leo K Community... And everyone who has ever stabbed a Templar over these last ten years. Our Brotherhood stands strong because we give a shit about these games. <3 ~ A Rogue

Remember, controls aren’t controls for Arno. They are a suggestion

Too bad Unity was messed up on release. It really is the best looking AC game and had some of the most fluid movement in the series.

I'll add 3 things. You can also use berserk blades for their intended purpose - to turn an enemy against their kind. Berserking a spearmen is ridiculously powerful. Berserking them guarantees their eventual death, but they are likely to take out multiple enemies in the process. And, in missions with tons of guards, such as a certain heist in the corner of the map, berserking two spearmen guarding the door will lure out the entire building's worth of guards, their mothers, their sons, and all of their friends, and numerous guards outside that are patrolling or just wandering. This amounts to about 25 guards in a neat pile, almost all of which will be in the radius of a poison (or the poison's bigger cousin, the mortar bomb) Poisons are ridiculously useful, especially if you have multiple of them. You can have up to 7. This is broken. 3 Poisons will kill nearly every guard except for the highest of levels. At this point, you can turn 25 guards into 3. Smoke, assassinate, and you've cleared an entire building using a couple poisons and two berserks. This is broken beyond measure, more efficient than manually clearing each individual one, and so on. Disguise also lets you interact with objects. You can sabotage cannons, steal paintings, open chests, without other guards noticing and without breaking your disguise. After detection, you can sometimes enter cover and assassinate a guard as they are running up to you.
  • I’m extremely late, but here’s a movement tip: When you hold the crouch button along with high profile (for consoles it’s L2 +R2/LT + RT) Arno will avoid running up random objects. Using high profile in interiors gets annoying due to the amount of waist-level objects around Arno that are climbable without the usage of high profile up. What’s especially useful to this trick is that it’s not just limited to interiors. You can use this trick even while performing parkour. So whenever you’re chasing someone in an interior, trying to get away cause a guard spotted you inside a building, or just don’t wanna hop onto random objects while jumping onto rooftops, just hold R2 and L2.

Assassin's Creed: Unity is free on Uplay until April 25.
  • I think the craziest thing this video does is prove that Unity had the most accurate trailer to it's gameplay for those who take the time to learn and understand the game.
  • @bluerose5071
I so badly want a future game to return to the same style of AC Unity's gameplay and stealth systems where fluidity and movement are preferred over reckless abandon and forced combat encounters. This guide proves just how much depth there was to learn in this game compared to Origins and Odyssey. Love the video! Time to play Unity again too!
  • im mad i missed out on this gem because people said it was shit. oh well at least i got it for free.
  • @BurtonBrewster
Today I learned, that when crouched all nearby enemies and allies will show up on you Mini-Map. I had assumed it was only tied to eagle vision.
  • @voiavictor
Personal vendetta against smoke bombs? Buddy, have you ever played assassins creed revelations multiplayer?
  • Hey thanks for this video. I used to get so frustrated playing Unity that I abandoned it for a year but this helped me so much. I went from rage quitting during solo heists (because I just couldn’t get myself to be accustomed to the stealth mechanics) to getting a perfect solo heist! Having actual control over the gameplay makes this game so much more enjoyable and it has become one of my favourite ones of the franchise all thanks to you! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
  • @TheBomber619
I think you summarized a problem a lot of 3d stealth games, not limited to the AC series, have in a minute or so rather than three hours like many other people take. Movement can be so crucial when a mechanical skill gap can be present and push meager aspects and interactions of gameplay to an admirable feature
  • @duta599
what i like about your guide is that you also incorporate AC lore to it, making the guide not also helpfully educational, but also very entertaining!
  • @ashleyhicks7565
i just started unity this week and was having a lot of trouble with it coming from bf/rogue. this was incredibly helpful and i’m enjoying the game tons more now. thank you!!
  • Unity is the best AC game to feel like a badass, but I still love Origins and Odyssey.
