While I appreciate the video, none of the 6th picked QBs listed were Heisman finalists, highest single season completion % in NCAA history, most starts by a QB in NCAA history, or drafted by Sean Payton. Bo Nix was a household name in college. Then others you listed here were not.

The logic doesn’t really work out here. What has being the 6th QB to do with Nix future success? That’s just grasping at straws. Not to mention that this class had much more depth than other QB classes

This logic is stupid. Ia he 6th, yes. is he a FIRST ROUND PICK, yes. Bo nix is a first roud pick, and he has show to be a collegic playoff contender. He is a perfect fit to a sean payton offense. So 🤷‍♀️

I think Nix will be good and really won't have to try that hard. He has probably the best all around package of attributes of the quarterbacks drafted. He has the perfect fit for a coach, an offensive line that was third in the NFL in run block win rate last year, a stable of very impressive running backs, several very promising wide receivers in a large competition, and Lukas Krull likely to break out at TE. Their bigger question marks are at LB, CB and maybe safety. I don't have them as a playoff team this year, but I think they will be in all but a few games, and that they're one killer defensive offseason away from being a deep contender.

this is a square peg in a round hole kind of logic. a 12th pick being the 6th QB selected shouldn't be compared to a day two/three picks who were also the 6th QBs selected. but entertaining video.

Bo Nix will easily be the best rookie QB this season
  • @No_Excuses_Boss
These QBS that were drafted as the 6th QB were not first round talent. They were 4th rounders mainly. Bad judgement in my opinion. Bo Nix will thrive in the Sean Payton offense.
  • That’s tough stat to use being the 6th qb taken. Marino was the 6th qb taken, Tom Brady was taken in 6th. A lot of these players weren’t the prospect Nix was/is.

Dan Marino was the 6th QB of the board in 1983... Edit - I commented this before you said this at the end of the video 😂

Everyone knows this draft right here was just different for everybody! There hasn’t been a draft like this ever
  • Hey hey hey, that’s Tank Commander Ryan Finley to you and anyone better put some respect on it lol
  • @gopackgo3861
It’s crazy how Caleb Williams was drafted 1st overall yet has the most weapons out of all the 6 QBs and the broncos depth chart def gonna help that 6th QB being a bust streak going
  • Yeah but all those 6th quarterbacks tooken in those drafts weren’t a heisman finalist.

Love the editing, i just subscribed. I think being 6th off the board isn't a big deal in this class. I mean i remember the draft with rg3 and luck but Russell Wilson ended up being a gem in the third round. With how the league has changed in terms of quarterback development the league is very impatient with a quarterbacks success, i always think of matt hasslebeck saying after 4 or 5 years backing up favre and doug Pederson he still didn't feel ready to play staying qb in the nfl and look how he ended up. I get he was underrated, undrafted i believe so he was not as expensive if an investment, but still the impatience is insane. If you couple that with how many teams had to try to navigate with a back up last year, i think it lead to hysteria in this draft for quarterbacks causing guys to get over drafted. However when you see guys like Purdy excel, you see #1 picks that are struggling to play at that level, and i mean Dan Marino was the 6th qb off the board but idk if that was talent i think it was because of the rumors he liked to hit the slopes, and crush fluffy bunnyhills of nose candy with his sniffer lol. Anyways i think there a lot that goes into this, i feel you could make a video with other 6th qbs picked and other late round or undrafted guys that work. So i don't agree with you, but i also don't disagree. But the editing is crisp and clean, well researched and you have a great voice. Keep up making up the criminally underrated content you deserve way more subs!
