  • You’re the gate opener for small clay businesses and also dealing with anxiety the journey to embracing yourself more. I love it

Social media has always been a scary thing to me, but there was a point where I was comfortable enough to upload a lot of my memories on my Instagram every other day. 'Friends' or classmates kept taunting me with "you upload too much". I stopped since that day but this video has definitely motivated me to use social media how I want to!

I found your channel a few months ago during a really difficult time in my life. I had just lost my Uncle, a few days after I lost my dog, and two weeks later— I had to walk out of my job with an alcoholic, abusive boss. But because of your videos, I was determined and on a mission— totally inspired and I knew that I needed to get back into sculpting and make my art, paint, draw etc. I had to sustain myself and make money and do what I’m actually passionate about. Creating. I’ve made more art in the last 3 months than I have in the last 3 years. I know you help so many people, and you hear it all the time but I’m grateful for you. You’ve inspired me tremendously, and because of you, I’m opening a new shop and building my small business all the way up. Thank you so much, Tammy. You are such an inspiration.

It probably helps to be photogenic. I feel super self-conscious on camera. I came to art later in life, after climbing a corporate career ladder. Now I’m tired and i look it, so i feel super sad to show my always tired face on camera, although i realize that that’s how i need to connect to the audience. :(
  • @nika-iz5bi
i adore your work. you showed me that my clay figures can be something, even if this is only few goofy animals. thank you.
  • @haldiroot
There's something really fun about explaining the stories behind your characters/your art and connecting with other artists. It's so cool to see where you started from and I hope to see the same growth for everyone else watching this video!
  • @itsdaksha
You're such a sweet girl 😊 I've seen you become so much better at speaking to the camera and making cuter clay creations over time! More power to you Tammy ❣️
  • You are amazing... I don't think I could ever get enough of your kindness and adorable cuteness!
  • Thank you for reflecting on your social media journey with us! Social media has become a huge source of disappointment for me lately, so it's very comforting to hear you encourage everyone not to be scared of it! ❤
  • you are literally the sweetest.💗 when i was going through your posts on instagram, i wasn't just able to press the back button until i saw each and every one of your posts, your art is so engaging so as i scrolled down, i saw that no one had ever commented on your very first post. So i did, and now i got to see my comment in your video and i was so proud, right there is the prove that i am the biggest Uncomfy fan girl. Love you Tammy. 🌷 Hope you are taking care of your health. 💗
  • You've quickly become my favourite content creator, your art is so cosy 😊
  • @myfanwynia
This helps so much, I have not posted to my YouTube in about a year because I felt my videos were cringe. This encourages me to keep going and not be so hard on myself, I really want to be comfy with being uncomfortable. Love your channel and all your lovely clay friends ❤️ 🥰
  • @kirei1297
tammy, you're so comforting on multiple levels. thank you for always providing us with a safe space and encouraging us to admire our authentic selves. recently, you have motivated me to start my own clay business and although it's overwhelming, i always remember that you told us to just have fun <3
  • I totally agree with your point on creating value to build credibility. It's very important in social media growth. I've been using Boost App Social for this very purpose - it has significantly helped me in creating valuable and engaging content for my audience.
  • You are so kind; showing folks how to have a personable and high quality professional presence in social media.💗🌞 (Tbh, I'm currently watching videos while I craft for my own comfort. Still, I recognize the immense value of creators like yourself. Thank you for taking time to share your process & life; and, to make the videos so lovely too, of course! )
  • @EntyseAndBriJoRae
I feel so encouraged. ❤❤❤ Thank you for this love. Keep doing what you’re doing. You really are helping so many. I’m definitely one of them. 🙏🏾🙏🏾 God bless your journey!
  • @Hanabievlogs
I love how your 'advice videos' make me feel really comfy and supported instead of stressing on the importance of something (which is how I feel most of the time after watching what other artists' tips). So, thank you ❤❤☺️
  • Love this!! I feel like connection with your audience and making your art personal to you can be missed a lot with beginner artists and sellers. If you want people to support you, show them the real you! Been loving your videos lately Tammy :)
  • @newnewmee44
very informative video. There is almost no thing more satisfying than making things. Like magic, you bring into existence cute characters mad from clay.
