Thank you all for 200k subscribers 😭💖. -- YouTube has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid, and I can't believe we're already here!!! I hope this video was helpful, and I will be posting giveaway info on all my social media channels soon ~

So right about just starting without obsessing over details.. ..you'll learn as you go.
  • "By fairly pricing your product, you're also attracting an audience that ultimately you want to keep." This resonated with me a lot. I'm one of those that feel bad when pricing my items.
  • @GeekEverythingTV
I loved the vid, but be careful everyone. The "learn as you go" route can land you in a lot of hot water if you're not someone who keeps track of every single purchase/expense/sale, and even if your state has regulations against certain things. A lot of times you have to register your business name with your state or file certain forms to allow you to sell in person or online (and yes, selling in person vs online are two separate things with different forms). Please do your research before opening up your own personal finances to liability and the possibility of problems with the IRS when tax season is upon you and you have no clue what you're doing. This lady has a whole agency to help her so that might be why she brushed over it as a non-issue, but please please do the research in terms of legality and taxes because it only takes one irate customer to bankrupt you. Goodness forbid you sell a small item without any warnings, a kid chokes on it, and now you're open to being sued and are responsible for the harm caused. Call your state and local tax offices and ask questions if you can't find the answers you're looking for online!

i cried so hard when you said "the universe is taking care of me" literally couldn't see anymore because of the tears
  • I was a sculptor, also with oven baked clays, of course my sculps were slightly larger at 1/6 scale, mostly Marvel/DC. It took me a week to create one-of-a-kind art pieces. I tried to sell but couldn't find the audience willing to pay for my time. :face-purple-crying:I progressed into cake decorating with modeling chocolate and have killed it in that area. Sometimes you have to tweak your talent to meet the needs of your audience. Thank you for showing me it could be done......

Are you kidding me! one of the most profound Q&A's if ever encountered. So many golden nuggets to get from. 1) being original & not worry about trends 2) getting rid of old so called "friends" 3) embracing fear...Last but not least...you were being productive while filming. Sister you rock! : )
  • @Ndisalive
By pricing our items properly for our time we are also normalizing a living wage ❤️😌 thank you for this vid 😊
  • @Claudia-lt6gb
I've watched a lot of "how to start a business" vids in the past and while they all inspired me they also left me with an impending feeling of dread and panic. Your video was so calming and was like the reassurance I needed to just start, nomatter what stage you're at, without overcomplicating things. It was also so so nice to see your old videos, because it shows you don't need the 4k perfect lighting setup to begin, you can always get to that later if you want and "learn as you go"
  • @luhearts7394
i really liked your answer tothe 'pricing' question, because what some people forget is, that no one forces you to buy stuff out of your price-ange. you can also silently support, by following or commenting :) or just click away if you don't like the contet you're seeing. :)
  • @StudioHelaShop
Wow when you said “I was motivated by fear” that really resonated with me 🥺 it’s amazing how powerful it can be to acknowledge something like that so I can be intentional about working on that for myself. I’m so glad I found your little corner of YouTube!
  • @janenru564
As someone who went to art school but hasn't had the courage/made the effort to do it for a living out of fear, I really appreciated this video. ❤
  • @PHcute
Over 3000 items?! 😮😮😮 Holy crap! I made 40 crochet Miffy Sonny hats and I’m done. My soul is empty. If I have to touch yarn ever again I might drop dead. You go girl! ❤❤❤
  • @mar2062
“I don’t have to seek trends I just make what I wanna make” brilliant babyyy
  • @frannypie.
"if you think im awkward NOW?!" 😭😭 that spoke to my soul lmao you wouldn't have wanted to see me ten years ago!! 😭
  • @Bigheartrolling
Thank you. I’m 57 and going from a long hiatus ina career I won’t be going back to and beginning my creative art stage of life. You’ve helped me realize my fear I’m not good enough is a waste of time. The universe will take care of us all if we believe in ourselves!
  • As an animal care enthusiast aspiring to be vet student someday, it makes me so so so so soooo happy to see you switch from kibble to gently cooked meat based food for you doggo. This is going to be so great for their health and coat! Love to see you supporting great brands like farmers dog :)
  • Hey Beautiful, I just wanted to shoot you a huge thank you and a few other things. I don't normally feel compelled to comment, but the way you did this video was absolutely perfect and I think your products are adorable! I hope that you know you've made a huge impact on at least one person, but I know you've impacted many. I'm not even going for the same art style you're doing, but you spoke to all of us and took half the world off our shoulders, or at least me. I've been putting off my business ideas for probably close to a decade now, slowly trying to get back into it recently when I found this video. Because of you, I feel so much more at peace and confident to just, GO FOR IT. So thank you, for all of us uncomfy people! You're amazing, keep nailing it ❤
  • @MyConnieD
You are REALLY good at this and being in front of the camera. Most importantly your articulate on how you describe your business set-up. You have grown so much. You are a shinning star ⭐️ in this world. I am about to turn 60 and recent breast cancer survivor ( that alone is life changing) … and starting my creative journey to my retirement. I am learning more from you than most senior adult artist. Love you … keep on shining. You should be proud of yourself and know that you are making an impact on people of all ages in all phases of life. ❤
