Hundred bucks says the guy at 24:45 microdosed earlier that morning! I'd recognize that uncontrollable grin and the life in his eyes anywhere! Nothing but love!

Damn this is amazing, and precisely the right person to bring psychedelics back into the mainstream. Much praise M. Pollan

“In general, the experience tends to be one where you discover that love is the most important thing in the universe. And this Hallmark card platitude suddenly becomes this profundity. And it IS a profundity... we’ve heard it some many times it becomes banal... There’s an interesting line between the profound and the banal, and psychedelics definitely work along that line.”

"I want to welcome the google micro-dosing club" - Laughter of recognition
  • He's as entertaining to watch as he is listening to. He is quite articulate with his gesticulation.

Finally we are having serious, smart discussions in modern times about life and soul "food" that has long been buried in the past....in our culture at least.

Thank you for bringing this to people! Very important for humanity to open to new possibilities for healing 🙏🥰
  • Panic reactions, “Bad trips” are in service to incredibly powerful, important issues that often haven’t been faced. Appropriate Navigation, or an established “Flight Plan” and more importantly how to handle issues in flight, redirecting the path if needed, not landing because there’s some severe turbulence, is incredibly important and needed for high dose experiences. Having guides, for those inexperienced people who have never been high, is critical. In my opinion. I don’t particularly like Pollan. He didn’t re-start Psychedelic research as it never stopped, it went underground after 1966(California) and in 1970-Nixons War on Drugs & the Controlled substances act. I support FULL legalization of all drugs for adults to buy without a prescription at the drug store. Just like in the days of my Great Grandfather & my grandfather(pre 1914)

I love a speaker that gives you all sorts of information and doesn't withhold to try and get you to buy their book. This makes me actually buy the book because I love the information they are giving so much that I want more! Thank you Michael Pollan

I really need to get his book! I find that a great understanding of philosophy, religion, mythology, psychology, and science on a comparative level really helps with psychedelic experiences. To know what you are and where you come from is a priceless thing.

“The Ego is like a tired old dog. You can never put it down, all you can do is let it lay on the back porch and step around it.” - Carlos Castaneda Ram Dass’ guru was named Neem Karoli Baba... Steve Jobs sought him out as well.

I love you Michael Pollan. I will certainly be keeping track to see what your research concludes. I used them and others to transform my life for the better. It's a shame these God given substances are illegal and were misused originally. What an evil, atrocious occurrence. Very happy to see you advocate on a major platform, most people think I'm crazy. Good luck on your journey brother!

Just bought his book translated to my language. Only released last month. Libraries here had tons on reservations for the book and I could not just wait.
