ABOUT SNUBBY J
Kent Jenkins (Snubby J) is a multi-disciplinary artist known for his highly-energetic performances playing the RimbaTubes, a homemade PVC Pipe instrument built with his father. What started as a hobby making YouTube videos in 2007, has since garnered Snubby J millions of views online and on television around the world (The Ellen Show, Das Supertalent, America’s Got Talent, MTV’s Amazingness, TEDx Talks online.) Originally from Lake Oswego, OR, Snubby J has travelled across the United States, Europe & Asia for college shows, corporate events and variety performances. His dream of performing with the world-renowned Blue Man Group came true when the two collaborated for a multi-episodic web series, sharing his journey to becoming the artist he is today.

Not only did he build it, but he took the time to learn several songs and create a medley this man is a hero

I gotta be honest, this is the best instrument I've seen

He’s got a good stage presence. It’s more than just going up there and playing, he smiles and makes faces and dances a little and looks like he genuinely enjoys what he’s doing, and that makes me enjoy it more as well. It’s frickin awesome
-
The amount of velocity he plays the notes with gives them different harmonics! Genius!

I smell winning material for America's Got Talent.

Love how he scans the crowd smiling. Probably picking out the girl to go home with.
