Kent Jenkins (Snubby J) is a multi-disciplinary artist known for his highly-energetic performances playing the RimbaTubes, a homemade PVC Pipe instrument built with his father. What started as a hobby making YouTube videos in 2007, has since garnered Snubby J millions of views online and on television around the world (The Ellen Show, Das Supertalent, America’s Got Talent, MTV’s Amazingness, TEDx Talks online.) Originally from Lake Oswego, OR, Snubby J has travelled across the United States, Europe & Asia for college shows, corporate events and variety performances. His dream of performing with the world-renowned Blue Man Group came true when the two collaborated for a multi-episodic web series, sharing his journey to becoming the artist he is today.

  • Snubby, I saw this video maybe four years ago? I was in sixth grade and I just picked up flute and alto sax. After seeing this same video again and again, my friend became a percussionist. Now, I play guitar, flute, all the saxophones regularly and the piano. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO. THIS YOUTUBE VIDEO ACTUALLY CHANGED MY LIFE. WUT
