At least the local guys have some remorse over the situation. It doesn't seem that the Fed do, in any shape or form.
  • Secret Service dropped the ball rather intentionally...... no denying it anymore.
  • dude was not detained although he had a RANGE FINDER...he wasn't checking his distance to the green FFS...they should have detained him

Where is the sniper that took the shot ? Where is the sniper that was told to stand down , not to shoot ?
  • @mikec1554
The fault is solely that of the Secret Service.
  • @DoyonFit
Secret service should be sued for negligence
  • This must really hurt, having the truth be told by the snipers. I have been hired to photograph a very similar event for Trump and the snipers were constantly ranging me and making certain I was actually using a real camera. After 9/11 the US learned that different agencies do not communicate with each other. The fact that there was not a common channel for communicating all threats going back to general command center is inexcusable. As more of the actual details come to light, the more difficult it is to believe that there was not something nefarious happening here. This is JFK all over again, 60 years later.

A lack in communication in 2024 is unacceptable!

All police have the authority to detain “suspicious persons “ for questioning. You don’t need permission from the SS. Just stop.
  • @patriot4amer
Secret service should be held accountable....SECRET SERVICE DID NOT RESPOND TO SWAT TEAMS WARNINGS...😮😢
  • @RonRay
Thank you ABC News, for not being "fake"... this time. 👍
  • @oni_goroshi
Wow, what an interview. If all we get is 5 minutes, why waste everyone's time?
  • @tykemorris
He had these guys together and still got no helpful answers to so many questions everybody wants to know. Are there any journalists anymore?
  • They all failed and are pointing fingers at each other. This man should have been detained. Law enforcement doesn't need permission from secret service to make detentions and arrests.

Things that make you go hum, local SWAT team feels bad about what happened, but the Secret Service doesn’t give a damn🤷🏻‍♂️
  • @Mark-oq5pf
How could the secret service not take charge and get everyone on the same page beforehand? Failure to plan is always a plan to fail
  • @PatPauloMMA
SS: Nobody do nothen until he shoots. Misses SS: Dang, take him out.
