The REALITY of living in the UK! (Beware of the “PROMISE” trap!)

Published 2024-05-27
I will tell you for real what many don't tell you about relocating abroad, especially UK and USA! I broke some promises because of my financial expectations prior to relocating abroad, hopefully you don't do the same.

Not everyone knows the realities of England when you just arrive. I arrived in UK 27 years ago and the first instruction I got from my aunt was: No credit or store card letters to her address. No immigration information from a friend, you're going to Luna House in Liverpool to get all the legal information. You will take a pen and pad with all your questions. No marriage before you know how do things in the people in UK I listened and I 've never find myself in difficulty regarding finances and immigration was a swift ride by then. It made my stay in UK a blessed experience and am grateful when I hear how things are now or how people are deceived by debt creators. Keep sharing you're a blessing to the ones who listen Son❤

  • Aside everything you talked about in your video, which was quality content, your video editing is amazing, simple background and straightforward information. I hope to learn a thing or two from you. Thank you

Hi Solomon. Mind sharing with us how to approach starting a youtube channel on a skilled worker's visa? Everywhere I turn I'm seeing that it isn't allowed. How can someone in their 1st year approach this? Are we allowed to monetize the channel? Does it have to be related to medicine if we're on a health care visa? Or is it a case that we can start a youtube channel and only monetize it after gaining citizenship?

Please tell us all taxes you pay there..
  • @ernestmfakudze
You had good intentions towards your parents at home but UK government had other ideas😂. I disagree that they don't charge us for the air we breathe, they do and it's disguised as some other tax! Life is really expensive in this country. I'm from Eswatini and I've lived in the UK for 29 years now.
