I also think it’s important to stress the importance of eliminating industrial seed oils from your diet as well because they’re highly inflammatory and cause your fat cells to become hypertrophic. That’s the other key to doing healthy low carb. I’m a fat burner and I only cook with natural, organic butter, coconut oil, olive oil, and avocado oil. I stay away from all industrial seed oils.

Did Bikman just knock it out of the park? I think so. He is saying what I thought might be true, but had no data other than personal experience. That fat and protein without carbs is powerfully anabolic, and uses primarily fat for fuel.
  • Dr. Bikman says in another talk that insulin lowers metabolic rate if i remember right. So sugar burners have lower metabolic rate because insulin is elevated while burning sugar.

Thank you Dr Bikman for these lectures. I feel like I'm back to university. The more I listen, the more I understand how our body work especially regarding the effect of our diets.
  • Cannot thank you all enough for sharing so much. Really appreciate the information it is really making a difference to me and I am sharing my learning with my family.. From Stonehouse in Gloucestershire, UK I send my thanks

What amazes is me is that that study is from 1992. So we've known this for 29 years.

That was so awesome... I didn't realize there was an experimental study showing no correlation between weight and resting metabolic rate! It has huge ramifications to the concept of weight loss!

Carlie should watch some interviews or read the book from James Nestor, breathing through the nose is important and at least for me it has helped a lot.

Fire in the bottle - stearic acid and Proton Transportchange or could you eat both fat and carbs together If the fat is stearic acid?

So chocolate chip cookies and ice cream aren’t a natural macro meld? Jeez!!!🤪

Very interested in the topic of energy wasting. Do fat burners waste or poop out a lot of energy?
  • I differ slightly from your opinion Dr. Ben, the one who is metabolically healthy and on traditional rice , pulses and greens & veggies with intermittent fasting would be in fat burning mode most of the time except post Prandial period , may be for few hours ...... Most of my patients are getting reversed of metabolic syndrome , off the drugs within weeks to months following our protocol.
