  • As a European (spain) that lives in the US and also I have lived in France, UK, Finland. Safety is one thing Europeans have wrong about the US. In the US there is crime, yes, but it is extremely localized, unless you are in those particular neighborhoods, you will barely see any crime. While in Europe you will have more chances of getting mugged or robbed. I feel safer using new york ' subway4than paris' metro. Waiting for a bus in plaza Castilla in Madrid at night has been way scarier than Waiting for the el in Chicago. I was a travel guide for many years when I was in my 20' s and early 30's so I had the chance to travel all over the world, and the US never felt unsafe. Again, avoid those bad neighborhoods and you will be fine.
  • Yup being a smart traveler and staying out of areas that are shady is the number one thing that makes a trip happy and successful.

No doubt about it, California is expensive, especially San Francisco, but you could have gone around the corner from the hotel and that same $14 beer would have cost you $4.00. Location, location, location!
  • @Nimbus1701
Yes, part 3 please. And congrats on hitting 200k! 🎉 🍻 I'm happy to see your channel growing.
  • @Wellch
Hufflepuff friendliness is in many areas of Texas.
  • @toddsonnier3763
You guys are awesome. Native Texan here. Don't apologize for any complaints you have. Americans are used to directness. I hope you guys find your way back to the Lone Star State some day!
  • @rivareed1641
One of the most valuable lessons I've leaned from my travels, is don't believe other's negative opinions about a place. I've learned that most of the naysayers have never been to the place they are warning you about.
  • So glad other youtubers reached out to help you guys get your channel corrected. I always enjoy your videos.
  • Panda Express is over rated. I see others suggesting that local Chinese shops are usually the better choice. Patriotism is pretty wide spread, but actually has diminished quite a bit in parts of the US. Glad it still resonates with you.
  • Probably depends on where you are. Some places are more friendly and hospitable than others.
  • @stcrombie
I'm so glad we, as a country, did not disappoint. Seeing the US through your eyes reminds me how great we can be.
  • It brings me a lot of joy that you both appreciated the friendliness that is abundant here. I'm in Texas where courtesy is just the norm. Honestly wish I could have met you both.
  • So, now you know just how scarily friendly Americans can be. We’re just that way. Elevators, escalators, checkout lines, getting gas, the ER/A&E, the vet, the post office, dropping off/picking up mail at your mailbox, the parking lot, you name it. The dog park?!!
  • give us the 20....it's definitely refreshing that you're doing different topics & even ones that others have said before in a different way
  • @Tam58851520
The patriotism is due to the fact most of us realize how truly blessed and fortunate we are to have been born here.
  • @makapan1
To be completely truthful, American are only gonna do Panda Express at the mall food court...lol...there are too many good mom and pop Chinese restaurants just everywhere in America! Just know you never have to settle for bad Chinese food in America!
