I put a carb on a 5.7 vortec 01chevy express, has all but 4th gear trying to figure it out for free

How are you liking your unit so far? I installed mine around the same time (March 2019) and have had issues with it keeping the TCC locked. I have it in a 3/4 ton 4x4 Ford and it does great driving around empty but when it downshifts from OD to 3rd, it also unlocks the TCC which is most annoying. I have the TCC multiplier as low as it will go (0.75) to get it to stay locked at a lower speeds. MSD should have never based the TCC lockup on a "speed" table like they do for the shifting. Rather they should have let the TCC stay locked when in certain gears (or until you trigger the brake switch wire input).
