The Last Kingdom is brilliant. The series is adapted from a book series by Bernard Cornwell, generally considered the greatest living historical novellist. Try his Sharpe series if you like Napoleonic time period, and about as gritty as it gets.

I think the point of the veil and speed tuning is that he can have the veil up everytime the enemy take a move so he uses the veil like you would use block dmg. That's what I gathered. Good bit of work to get him going, speed tune him to the wave speeds etc. Least it'll be easy to have set up for it in faction wars. Also you don't want to extend his buffs with lasting gifts. It defeats the point that you want the 1 turn buff to drop for the turn meter boost.

Good to know he is useful for faction wars at least once it's out, as I just pulled him the other day. Now I have 3 to build there team from.

Odachi. "Oh-Dah-chee". It's a type of bladed weapon used by infantry during the dynastic period. There could be as many as 3 different blade lengths to an Odachi, depending on what it was being used for.

Great spotlight video. A tip to you Ash, Plarium added an option, in the options meny at the bottom under miscellaneous they call: Disable camera shake in battle. If you have a check mark in that, it will stop the constant shifting camera angle in battle. Making your video's more injoyable.

I'm end game 3.5yrs in F2P but don't have extra gear that good lying around for him with so many better champs being higher priority, but he does look very good for a Rare and will get used. Thanks for the info!

The Black Company by Glen Cook (gritty dark fantasy) and Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson (leans more epic fantasy but gritty as well) are both amazing book series.

I didn't go with the fusion but I did keep 3 of these rares for faction wars when I saw how good the kit was. I thought oh they will go nicely with my two Orns that I kept instead of completing the fusion. Thanks for the video they are in the vault so no game play to assess them.

Last Kingdom gets better and better, stay with it and you won't be let down. Been wondering about Shadowbow, thanks for the preview/rundown.

My fav books are Justin Cronin's series "The passage", "The Twelve" and "The City of mirrors". Kinda post Apocalyptic story but a thrilling read. For a great series try OA , mind bending stuff

Hello, dear Ash, please help me.
I used to play raid back in the day but rage quit in 2019 after playing for 6-7 months without getting any legendary. I'm returning to Raid and opened a new account with link codes (I got rector, vergis, deacon, Ronda, kael). I am barely a week into the game and for now I have a huge stash of energy.
I was wondering if I should use these energy and my first blue shards to progress my account initially by doing the progess missions + levelling my kael to 60. Or should I keep them for the next supreme starter fragment event, the one who will come after elhain?
Should I open my first 10 ancients or so to increase my hero pool or still keep them for events?
My kael is currently at level 50, all the 3 aforementioned epics at 40, many commons and uncommons levelling up for food. But I'm not sure if newbies have a shot at completing the fragments.
Please help me.
Also, my favorite show on Netflix is Demon Slayer. ❤

Ash if you are interested in epic fantasy. The Malazan series is really amazing. Dark fantasy not for the light of heart war based and everything you are asking for. Steven Erickson and Ian C. Esselmont co created the world and both have a fantasy series. All available on audiobooks.
