Dear Derek, communication is a valid struggle for people with ADHD. I’ve lost many friends over this. I now put check ins in my Calendar. Check in with son, check in with MIL , text your niece. Some are weekly, some more frequent a couple less frequent. But reminders help.

I got married at 18! Still disgustingly in love with my husband 13 years later. No children yet- just enjoying this time together until that day comes. No one thought we would make it. It’s a wonderful feeling to know we had love and patience with each other as we grew and changed throughout the years ❤
