  • I don't know why this excites me while at the same time relaxes me. As a young boy I loved building forts in the woods. Now I am 44 and I think 2024 I'm gonna give it a shot ....I'm gonna build a sweet fort . For my fort though I will use pallets as I have access to about 200 pallets.
  • Sometimes I watch things like this at 2 AM in bed thinking "Yeah I'm gonna go build this tomorrow"

I just spent my saturday afternoon watching this, finished 6 beer. Loved the video not only the work that was done to complete the project , but the camera work and the behind the scenes editing to create this. Hats off to you son, much love and respect from Canada. // Dean

I watched the individual videos and then watched the 3 hour version. Both are very enjoyable for me. At 71 I am no longer physically capable of much, but my mind is sharp and your ingeniuity impresses me. Great job Ale.

  • There is something very theraputic about your videos Alex. I am really enjoying learning new skills while relaxing.. I feel like I just want to be out there doing this also. I live by a river on a boat so pretty much off grid but I would love a project like this.. UK not so sure we would get away with it but stunning wherever you are in the world.. Keep them coming 👌👍

  • Nice backyard where you can play house and make survival life look rather easy, thoroughly enjoyed everything start to finish though and grateful to you for sharing your survival skills in the forest. Stay safe and enjoy the peace and freedom around you.
  • I really enjoyed seeing your built of this nice place. You make it look easy, but I know it was hard work. I hope it lasts for many years. Thank you for sharing.
  • Secretly, or openly, every man wants to do this at least once in his life or thinks about it. I watched this from beginning to end...really amazing video.
  • Excellent day, Alex. Sublime and pretty cabin. I've enjoined each minute of your hard work with this place, thanks a lot!

I loved watching this. The end result reminds me of those traditional houses in Scandinavia, only a very small version. It just goes to show that with a bit of elbow grease you can accomplish great things. If only more young people developed these skills. It seems to me that most of them these days don't have any that doesn't involve a computer screen. No brains and no imagination! You have been respectful of the forest too, and not taken anything that hasn't fallen. There are great lessons here. Thank you, Alex.
  • Watching you progress with your hammer strikes getting more and more accurate was a joy to watch. Also refining your house to make it more liveable and convenient was great. I was always thinking "What is he going to do next?" Great work, from your friendly Japanese carpenter.
