Mr. Wild Nature pays homage to its name and builds an incredible mountain home, with sweeping views of golden sunsets and growing trees.

His project, however, goes far beyond a house. It is a call for sustainability, installing a renewable energy source and using zero-kilometer materials. With this approach, he manages to create a safe and warm building, with personal touches and highly prepared to withstand the weather conditions of the area.

If you haven't yet felt like watching the video, we'll just say one thing: he has a dog.

9:10..."Insulation helps retain heat".....and yet the builder did not put insulation ANYWHERE. It is a great looking cabin with the best views!

It's interesting there isn't any insulation at all other than sealing the holes between wooden pieces. I wonder what living in this cabin is like in the winter, but insulation aside, what a journey. Just wow. How well-versed and creative this man is.

Great work. As an insert carpenter of 20 years, who's completed many posts homes, some by myself, I know the grind. Theres plenty of stuff I would have done differently and this building wouldn't pass code in Australia, but we all know it's more than adequate. Brilliant.

Man! to be young again!! I've been planning a complete rebuild for years now. It looks so easy (and fast watching at 2x speed lol) thanks for posting. I love time-lapse for these kinds of DIYs.

I love the way he cuts out patterns in the wood, almost like block formations. Its kinda rustic but I could live in it.The way he uses material around him to build with is awesome.
  • Строить дом на склоне горы, это безумие! Тем более, без специальных исследований! И сели, и лавины, и другие явления в горах, могут легко, этот дом спустить по наклону горы, если не в обрыв😮

I never seen anything quite like it. That's a lot of work for one man, and dogs.

Excellent project . Having built two houses primarily on my own I can relate to the feeling of satisfaction when complete. I still live in my first house built 50 odd years ago. Well done brother. Cheers from Michael. Australia.

  • It’s amazing to me how that home has no structural footers. I can’t imagine that house won’t sink over time.

  • starting @10:35 I really like the way you put together that side wall - it was built way nicer than it had to be. But that's what gave it so much character in the long run. The view from up there looks nice!
