I have no clue why these are even called "mining kits". They should be called Minecraft Mystery Sandboxes. Well, whatever! It was worth a try!

Hey Brent, there’s a series of those exact same little Minecraft figures, except it’s only the figures and they’re only around $3 each. They’re great to collect, there’s a new series all the time, and I believe the newest one is series 25. Lots of the series are themed, mostly after updates, like ones based off the Aquatic Update, and the Nether Update! There are chase figures in each series too! But I do want the Steve one from those tho Edit: thanks guys, these replies made my day!

I think you have to mine with the shovel through the little layer of sand and that’s the “mining kit”part of it
