Today's men's style mistake to avoid is wearing a belt for the purpose of keeping your pants from falling down.

So here's the simple fact around this mistake. A men's belt is nothing more than s fashion accessory. Granted it's a great accessory but it is an accessory and should serve no practical purpose in your wardrobe.

If you need to wear a belt to hold your pants up, there's 2 possible reasons this is the case.

Reason number one is that you've lost weight on your belly and you need to replace your old pants that are too big with pants that fit correctly and stay help up on your waist without a belt.

Reason number 2 is that your buying the wrong sized pants for your waist measurements and need to go down a size.

The main reason this is a mistake is for the negative visual aesthetic wearing pants that are too big causes for your image.

What if the fit on your waist is to big but thighs and legs are tight?

I think the need of the belt is more for the things that we have in our pokets, phone 1 or 2 & may be even a charger, keys, coins, because most of us don’t like to wear a purse
  • Came here from your older video about pulse points. You've improved immensely in the video department, keep it up!

Love the shirt your wearing. Wondering if you would tell me what it is or where to get it. Thanks.

Excellent Tip. Sometimes however, a size down is too much.

"Fit is king" isn't helpful. Pants do not fit the same way sitting as they do standing, and the fit can change drastically depending on what you eat through the day. I have to wear a uniform 40 hours a week. I can't get the pants tailored and the shirt is cheap polyester. Lower back problems mean I can't use any kind of object around my waist to keep my pants up, and the uniform code doesn't allow suspenders. So, what the hell am I supposed to do?

I feel naked if I dont have a belt on....
  • Great video! What do you use to keep the collar down? Magnetic stays? But they usually make the collar heavy and yours is still standing up well. Is the placket reinforced?

ì tried to click where you finger was but you kept moving it. WTF man???

I feel like the rise tends to be too short for tall men, and I can't get the jeans to stay at the waist.

Belts DO NOT keeps your pants up. You really do have to find agood fit of jeans, but now a days jeans are cheaply made. I tried almost all brands and they just fall down! I'm a guy from the 80s and jeans made back then never sagged or had a problem staying up. Any suggestions on jeans you tried that stay up? And no I don't have a big belly or flat butt.

Say a dude needs a belt to hold his pants up, but can't afford to get new pants yet, and the stupid belt doesn't even keep his pants up. What then? Suspenders?

This is hard if your in school because I buy 32-30 pants to last me two years. Wear a belt w them to keep them up so I don't have to spent a shit ton of money
  • @JasonMasque13
Where the fuck do you get size 26-29 pants? Yeah and suspenders suck too because I have a pigeon chest which pushes them out.
  • @tybittz
are jeans supposed to fit so well that u technically dont need to wear a belt when walking in them?
  • I'm going to stop you right there, unless I get my pants Taylor fitted there's no way I'm going to be able to wear a smaller waist pants because I'm black, we have big butts LOL, so I'm using the belt to hold my pants up
  • @dougiedotcom
Yeah but the time I get cell phone wallet keys etc in my pocket it pull down when you walk
