I was frustrated because my pants either had to be too tight or fall down. I looked at other solutions, but they weren't right for me. Now I have a simple way to turn any tee shirt into a support that my belt can rest on. I have tried this with quite a bit of weight and they stood the test. Update:

Here are a couple of tips for using PantsUp.

PantsUp works best with pants that Do NOT have stretch waistbands.

If you find that the accessory pops out from under your waistband trying attaching to the tee shirt at a slightly lower position and make sure it is at the widest point of your hip (not in front or back of you).

Make sure that your tee shirt has not bunched up above the cube. If you need to gather it up, bunch it under the cube.

After daily use the elastic may stretch a bit and might need to be wrapped around twice to achieve the proper tension. I have been wearing the same pair for months and they are still strong with just this little adjustment.

I once knew a guy that improvised and used 18 gauge speaker wire to hold his jeans up through the belt loops. I was pretty impressed with this as the shielded wire is more flexible than rope and it seemed to do the job just fine. And you couldn't tell he used speaker wire because it was covered by his thick sweater! Ingenious!

Does this work on thick jeans? such as Rock Revivial Jeans? It will clearly work on thin, khaki type pants. But I need them for heavier, thick pants that don't felx as much.
